If someone had said to me a couple of years ago, that I would be 'trading' this, my 8kg Italian "Pinarello" track bike ...

... for this, a German made 280kg BMW Beast ...

... I would have said something like, whatever drugs you're on, I don't want any ;-)
How things can change in the space of mere weeks! A disheartening lack of results at the World Masters Track Championships of that year, a post-comp lung infection for the following three weeks, and a new change in 'focus' was badly needed ... enter, the world of bikes with MOTORS!! ;-)

Fast fwd to March 2010, and we're close to setting off on a cruisey unhurried four week motorbike adventure across the Nullabor to Perth! ... starting this Sunday!! :-)

  7. I cant believe it. But... if someone told me 10 years ago that I was going to live in Australia and have kid I would have said "you are nuts" and would have added "you dont love me one bit". And look at me.
Have lots of fun. Life it to do whatever you want to do, change is good.
