Wednesday … bad sleep the night before, late brekky, late lunch, but a successful shopping trip at Harbor Town in the afternoon, Perth’s version of Melb’s DFO! Potentially back for more tomorrow

Thursday, April 1st … even though it’s only parked in the ‘drive’ here, I’m missing riding my bike already :-/

This afternoon, Chris’ niece Camille is involved in an end of semester school performing arts competition, and we go along for a look … OMG, wow!!! Do these kids have talent!! Dancers, actresses, songsters of the future! The standout performance for us though was a group of little Year 7‘s doing a lip-sync version of Jackson 5’s “Rockin’ Robin”! Five little ones with fluro costumes and fuzzy black wigs, with the rest of the troupe in red-robin styled red and grey ‘bird’ costumes with red tummies … perfectly in time, obviously very professionally rehearsed with not a step or dance gesture out of place! Don’t know about Chris but they gave me goose bumps, and they got the longest loudest applause of all the year level groups and disciplines presented! The two (?) hours we were there was SO worthwhile, but annoyed I forgot to take the camera :-/

Having done a bit of reccy of the shops at HT yesterday, we do make another trip and spend up big for Chris at ‘Colorado’: items that are already heavily discounted to clear have the added attraction of “second item a further 50% off”. We take home five pairs of shoes for Chris, one pair for me, and eight polo shirts various – “Imelda” now has shoes to last the next four years at least, so he says ;-)

Annnnnnd, HAPPY 60th BIRTHDAY to our great mate Leon, currently slumming it on a 3week holiday in Paris, as a pressie from his wife Sue! Ahhhhh Leaping, I do hope you know how truly lucky you are ;-) Hugs!!! E&C
